Dear Golfers,
As Governor of the great state of Colorado, it is my pleasure to introduce to you Colorado Golf, the official guide to golf in Colorado. The governing bodies of golf in Colorado - the Colorado Section of the PGA, the Colorado Women's Golf Association, the Colorado Golf Association, the Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendent's Association and the Ladies Professional Golf Association - have come together to create a complete resource guide to golf in the state. This publication serves and promotes the game within the state as well as to our vast number of visitors.

I firmly believe that you must spend time outdoors to fully appreciate the wonders of Colorado. Golf is one of the most traditional outdoor activities in the state and has been since 1893. From the vast open plains to the snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountains are some of the most beautiful and enjoyable golf courses in the world.
I am very proud of the golf facilities in Colorado. This book has given me yet another opportunity to brag about our wonderful state. Enjoy your golf outings.
Sincerely,
Bill Ritter, Jr.
Governor
