National Repertory Orchestra and the Breckenridge Music
Festival Orchestra, offering more than 40 classical and nonclassical
concerts and ensemble performances throughout the
summer.

Breckenridge Festival of Film June 10-13, 2010
In its 30th year, the Breckenridge Festival of Film celebrates the
art and craft of filmmaking. Each year, a unique and varied array of
independent films, premieres, receptions, educational programs
and retrospectives honoring featured guests takes place high in
the Colorado Rockies.

Kingdom Days June 19-20, 2010
Breckenridge's annual heritage celebration. This event offers
a robust line-up of events and activities including historic mine
tours, museum exhibits, gun fights, live music, old time arts and
crafts, storytelling, historic hikes, kids' activities and the Annual
Outhouse Races as seen on MSNBC's Countdown with Keith
Olbermann.

Independence Day Celebration July 4, 2010
Breckenridge's Independence Day is filled with patriotic
celebration including concerts and activities for all ages. The
weekend includes a colorful Independence Day Celebration on
July 4. A 10K trail race fires up Independence Day morning, and
the "Firecracker 50" bike race kicks off the Main Street parade
followed by various activities and music throughout town. End
the night with the National Repertory Orchestra as they perform
a FREE mountain holiday celebration followed by an extraordinary
fireworks display (weather permitting).

Breck Bike Week July 5-11, 2010
Breck Bike Week offers led group rides, bike-in movie nights,
nutrition, fitness and open space best practices lectures, bike fits,
kids' races, Tour de France viewing parties, high-end bike demos
and more. The bonus is that all Breck Bike Week activities are
FREE and open to everyone.

Colorado Gold Panning Championships. July 30-August 1, 2010
The Gold Prospectors of Colorado present the state gold panning
championships and the world dry-panning championships.
Experts are on-site for public demonstrations and instruction.
Labor Day Weekend Festivities September 3-6, 2010
Events include the Great Divide Arts and Crafts Fair, the Summit
Foundation's Rubber Duck Race, Sidewalk Sale Days around
town and more.

16th Annual Breckenridge Oktoberfest
September 17-19, 2010
The high country's premier Oktoberfest celebration brings
Bavarian food, German brews, lederhosen and Oompah music
to Breckenridge's Main Street. The prestigious Brewmaster's
Dinner kicks off the weekend-long party on Friday night.
