ATTRACTIONS
Scenic Gondola and Chair Lift Rides • Enjoy panoramic views of Vail Mountain from an entirely different perspective-in the summer! The Eagle Bahn gondola and Vista Bahn chairlift are open at periods throughout the summer. You can even bring your bike up and ride down one of the many summer mountain biking trails.
Adventure Ridge • Ride the gondola to the top of the mountain and play laser tag or lawn sports such as horseshoes and disc golf. Bounce on a bungee trampoline or take a guided nature hike. Also enjoy lunch on Talon's Deck.
Betty Ford Alpine Gardens • Enjoy the scenic splendor of the world's highest botanical garden, named after former First Lady Betty Ford. Boasting a spectacular collection of high-elevation and indigenous plants, the gardens are a must-see for Vail visitors.
Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater • Truly the hub of Vail's artistic and cultural scene. The beauty of the open-air venue brings crowds from all over to enjoy performances from all types of entertainers. The Amphitheater hosts performances during the Vail International Dance Festival, the Bud Light Hot Summer Nights Concert Series, and the Bravo! Music Festival.
Vail Golf Course • This beautiful course is open to the public and offers great rates throughout the summer season. In addition, the 13 other golf courses in the Vail Valley offer avid players the opportunity to play on courses designed by Greg Norman, Tom Fazio, Arnold Palmer, and Jack Nicklaus.
Outdoor Activities • Vail is the epicenter for outdoor activities in the Rocky Mountains. Visitors of all ages and skill levelscan experience backcountry beauty by hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, or whitewater rafting.
Shopping and Dining • Though nestled deep in the mountains, Vail's shopping and dining rivals that of even the most cosmopolitan locations. With something for every palate and price range, don't leave Vail without tasting something wonderful or trying on something you love.
