The Summit Stage bus service is available seven days a week, 365 days a year.  Buses depart Frisco Station from 6:00 am to 8:30 pm for destinations within Summit County.  A late bus departs Frisco for Lake County at 10:30 pm.  Buses depart Silverthorne Station from 6:15 am to 9:15 pm.  Buses depart Breckenridge Station from 6:45 am to 9:00 pm.  Please check full schedules on the Summit Stage website.

Ride the Bus On Time

The bus makes every effort to be on time; however, mountain weather can be problematic and cause delays. The best way to check the bus status is via the above-mentioned apps.

Bus Bike Racks

Buses are equipped with bike racks from May 1st through October 31st only. No winter bike racks. Bus bike racks can only accommodate up to 3 bikes on a first-come first-serve basis. No bikes are allowed inside the bus. No bikes are allowed on the racks before or after sunset.

Lost and Found

Please contact the front office at (970) 668-0999 to retrieve lost items. The office is located in the County Commons campus in Frisco: 0222 County Shops Rd. Call to arrange pick up of items.

Skis & Snowboards on Buses

Skis and snowboards are allowed on buses. You must maintain control of all equipment and ensure it does not block the aisle or interfere with other riders. Summit Stage is not responsible for damage to equipment. There are NO external racks for equipment.

Alcoholic Beverages and Containers

Open alcoholic containers are not allowed on the bus at any time.

Park and Ride the Bus

Daytime parking for passenger vehicles is available at the Frisco Transit Center, 1010 Meadow Drive. Overnight parking is available by reservation. Fill out this form.

Rules & Regulations While on the Bus

  • Do not move about the bus while it is traveling.
  • Please follow the directions of your Summit Stage driver.
  • Please treat others with courtesy so that all guests have a pleasant journey.
  • Passengers age 12 and younger are encouraged to ride under the supervision of an adult.
  • The following are prohibited on Summit Stage buses and at stops and stations:
    • Threatening or violent behavior
    • Open alcoholic beverage containers
    • Hazardous materials and flammable liquids
    • Smoking and vaping.

More Riding Tips

  • Before boarding the bus, allow others to exit.
  • Arrive at your bus stop a few minutes ahead of the scheduled arrival of the bus.
  • If you plan to transfer to another route, let the driver know, he or she may be able to hold your next bus.
