Besides the glorious colors, the best part about autumn in Colorado is all the fall festivals. September – Labor Day weekend

This festival takes place over Labor Day weekend at Civic Center Park in downtown Denver. Admission is free, and you will find various local food booths, live music on multiple stages, arts & crafts vendors, and family activities
Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off (Balloon Classic)

The state’s largest and longest-running hot air balloon festival, held every Labor Day weekend in Memorial Park.
Telluride Film Fall Festival

August 29th – September 1st
This year marks the 52nd annual film festival. Locations and venues are located throughout Telluride including: Sheridan Opera House, and The Palm Theatre. Participatants will enjoy the curated celebration of film across eras past, presernt, and future. You will find premiers, tributes, guest filmmakers, and interactive panels. Telluride Blues & Brews Festival

Considered one of the most scenic and intimate music festivals in the country. Held in the iconic mountain town of Telluride, where the magic starts as soon as you arrive. Steamboat OktoberWest
September 5 – 6, 2025
Steamboat Springs
Steamboat puts its spin on the conventional Oktoberfest with Rocky Mountain beer, local food specialties, and Western festivities. With an anticipated 30 brewers and between 1,000 – 1,500 beer enthusiasts to be attending. Held at the festive Gondola Square, it’s an event not to miss. Join in on the live music, food, and festivities.
Frisco’s Fall Fest

This super family-friendly fall festive celebrates Colorado’s bountiful apple harvest. Head to historic Turner Farm for apple bobbing, pie contests, crafts, a cemetery tour, pony rides, live entertainment, and more. The century-old apple orchard puts on an old-fashioned fair with front porch acoustic music, a pie contest and sale, storytelling and old-time demos on everything from butter-churning to tractors.
