Avalanch Sports: Two Shops - Two Premier Locations

Both shops are full-service, and equipment is always tuned in-house. Both stores have parking on Main St.

Avalanche Sports North - is at the north end of Main,  across from the fire station. It is the same building as Northside Pizza,  directly across the stream from the Gondola.

Rental Skis and Snowboards

All of our rentals are examined after each use.  The minimum a ski or board will get is a wax; often, they are fully tuned.  Our gear is not only current but well maintained.  (unlike many corporate shops). It's part of being a locally owned shop that really cares about our clientele.

Demo Fleet

We entirely replace our Demo fleet every season. Each year, we have the newest models from Volkl, Salamon, Never Summer, and Lit Tech, for example. We carry most of the popular ski and snowboard brands.

We have been in Breckenridge for over 30 years, working in the ski and snowboarding industry. Avalanche Sports is an actual owner-operated business where the owners are present and work every day of the week.

We are all avid skiers and bikers, so we practice what we preach. Our crew has been with us for multiple years, so they are all very knowledgeable and willing to help.

Experience Location - it doesn't get any better

We have tons of experience and are conveniently located. An example of this is Rich (one of the owners) used to work on the Ski Mechanic's Workshop before moving to Breckenridge. He has traveled the U.S. teaching how to tune and mount bindings in different ski destinations for years. We have the knowledge to work with your equipment, help you select what will work best for you, and make recommendations so that your equipment is performing its best during your time at Breck.
