Art & Sip: Tunnel Book Alter - Oct 23rd

Longmont Museum presents an educational event for those interested to learn about the history, symbolism, and cultural significance of a traditional ofrenda (altar), the central feature of the Mexican and Guatemalan holiday Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead). Participants will create a three-dimensional book featuring a tunnel-like visual effect with layered cutouts for each level of the altar for the dead. Register online.

Munchkin Masquerade - OCT 31st

Downtown Boulder is invaded by tiny ghosts and goblins, dinosaurs and dragons, fairies and princes, superheroes, and animals of every size trick-or-treating along historic Pearl Street Mall! Recommended for children ages 12 and under.

Ivy Wil West Halloween Party - OCT 31st

Ivywild’s getting scary this year. Wear your costume and dance to the live DJ’s grooves. A ticket wristband includes a punch bowl, Cadaver No.2, and zero-proof Tincture of Terror. This event goes on all week. Starting Sunday the 26th through Thursday (11 am - 9 pm), Friday and Saturday (11 am - 11 pm).

Boo at the Zoo - OCT 31st

Wear your costume and see the zoo during the after-hours Cheyenne Mountain Zoo fall festival. Bring your trick-or-treat bag, and enjoy festivities, including a spooky graveyard, lighted pumpkin patch, haunted house, and pirates’ cove.

• W Aspen’s Halloween Party! - All you need is a costume and share in the fun with a live DJ, cocktails, and a chance to win ski gear, a stay at W Aspen, and more cool stuff!
• Bring the family to Anderson Ranch to celebrate from 3:30 to 5:30. Dress in costume and make a spooky craft, go trick-or-treating through the artists' studios, and compete in the costume contest.
• Check out the annual Caribou Club Spook-Tacular evening. A public party, but you gotta wear a costume.
• Get scared with Aspen’s DarkSide Historical Ghost, Murder & Mayhem Walking Tour. Uncover Aspen’s tarnished past with true stories and the darker history from 1879 to the present—reservations required.
• Get brave, take a night cemetery tour, and hear tales from Aspen’s oldest burial grounds. This entertaining, educational, and reflective tour of Aspen’s cemetery will bring visitors to a unique and almost forgotten spot in Aspen’s history. Reservations are required.

Summit County: Breckenridge, Frisco & Silverthorne

• Frisco’s “Trick-or-Treat Street” will be along Main Street and at Frisco Historic Park on Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m.
• Coroner's Ball - Saturday, October 18th at 10 Mile Music Hall, 6:30 pm. Two live bands are playing, and there is also a silent auction. All proceeds benefit Facing the Mourning Grief Support & Summit County Survivor Support.
• The town of Frisco is hosting Trick-or-Treat on Main Street. This kids' event begins at 5 pm and ends at 7 pm on Main Street.
