Durango Hot Springs

The Durango Hot Springs and Resort is located 8 miles north of Durango and 15 miles south of Purgatory Ski Resort, surrounded by mountain views in the Animas Valley. On-site, there are over 40 unique water features, including 32 different hot springs, 2 cold plunges, a 25-meter resort-style swimming pool, 5 private Japanese-inspired cedar soaking tubs, a reflexology walking path, and a mineral water rain tower. This resort has a range of unique spa services and esthetics. Event hosting is also facilitated.

Iron Mountain Hot Springs

Situated alongside the beautiful Colorado River in Glenwood Springs and surrounded by Rocky Mountain views that soothe and inspire, our 16 geothermal soaking pools offer guests a pure soaking experience—the way nature intended. Our freshwater family pool is cooler and ideal for all ages. An attached elevated jetted spa provides yet another opportunity to relax. Thoughtful amenities are built throughout: towel tree sculptures at each soaking pool, changing rooms stocked with complimentary shower products, and a restaurant serving food and drinks adds to the ambiance.

Avalanche Ranch

12863 St. Hwy 133, Redstone, CO

Hot Springs: Three hot spring soaking pools in a tiered succession. A waterfall feeds guests the largest pool—open day and night, with limited public paid access.
Lodging: There are onsite private cabins, each capable of accommodating between 2 and 6 people. Each cabin is unique, but all have kitchens, bathrooms, and access to common hot springs, showers, and restrooms.
Food: Dining and or BBQ set-ups.
Activities: Onsite recreation and mountain activities are offered.
Spa Services: Message service and yoga classes are offered.
Hosting: Weddings, family gatherings, or retreats.

Conundrum Hot Springs
Hot Springs: At 11,200 feet, this is a special feature of the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness. You must hike 8.5 miles one way. A permit is required, and you must respect the untrammeled, undeveloped quality.
Camping: Tent camping only, Permit required and good stewardship rules must be followed.

Penny Hot Springs
Hot springs: Located near the historic mining town of Redstone, Colorado.

South Canyon Hot Springs
Hot Springs: A short hike leads to an undeveloped hot springs pool near Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Piedra River Hot Springs
Hot Springs: This is an undeveloped hot spring outside of Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

San Juan Riverwalk
Hot Springs: Otherwise known as the “Hippie Dips”. Walk along the paved path next to the San Juan River. Discover undeveloped hot spring pools that are free to the public.

Pinkerton Hot Springs
Hot Springs: 20 minutes north of Durango on Route 550. A public hot spring pool with historical character is next to the highway.

Radium Hot Springs
Hot Springs: Warm springs pool located on the banks of the Colorado River south of Kremmling, CO.

Rainbow Hot Springs
Hot Springs: 18 miles northeast of Pagosa Springs. The round-trip hike is about 10 miles.
