Colorado Rockies Spring training at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Arizona, is wrapping up. Their home opener at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado, is quickly approaching! Opening Day at Coors Field has been referred to as a bona fide holiday in Colorado and is sure to be a good time as the whole neighborhood comes alive.

The Colorado Rockies Opening Season Games

  • The Rockies begin their season with a six-game road trip to Tampa Bay (March 27-30) and Philadelphia (March 31-April 2),
  • Then, they will return home and celebrate Opening Day at Coors Field against the Athletics on April 4.
  • Next they play three games against the Athletics (April 4-6).
  • The Rockies will then play three games against the Brewers (April 8-10) to complete the opening homestand.

This is just the start for the team as they finish their pre-season exhibition games and take on a 162-game schedule for the 2025 Major League Baseball season. Check out the season schedule here.

Coors Field Menu Updates!

There will be new items on the menu at Coors Field this baseball season as the Colorado Rockies' downtown Denver ballpark celebrates its 30th anniversary. The new items include:

  • The Wazee BurgerColorado Rockies hotdog
  • Wild Fries
  • Dessert Nachos.
  • There will also be a throwback concessions combo, featuring a super dog and medium fountain drink for just $5.

Important Things to Know Before the Game:

  • Please arrive early to avoid backups entering the ballpark. Gates A and E open two hours before the first pitch, and Gates B, C, and D open 90 minutes before the first pitch.
  • Backpacks and other multi-pocket bags, including multi-pocket purses, are NOT permitted.
  • Only single-pocket bags no larger than 16” x 16 " x 8” can be brought into the ballpark, and all permitted bags will be subject to search.
  • When guests pass through metal detectors, phones and keys should remain in your pockets, only divesting large metal items.
  • The Ticket Office, retail locations, and most concession stands will be cashless, and only credit cards will be accepted. Cash will only be accepted at the following concession stands: Section 109 Fanfare, 134 Grille Works, 306 Grille Works, and 327 Fanfare.
  • Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be allowed at Coors Field, provided they are single-sized servings. Factory-sealed plastic bottles and empty re-usable plastic or metal cups/mugs will also be permitted.
  • Re-Entry is NOT permitted.
