Arvada Shred-a-Thon

Old documents piling up in a box? Not sure how to securely dispose of documents that contain personal or financial info? Bring them to the AUMC Shred-a-Thon! Documents will be shredded on site. The paper is then processed and recycled to actually make new products such as paper towels and napkins. This does not happen with home shredded documents; these end up in the landfill!
Fee: $10.00 per vehicle + added donation recommended – Cash Only Please.
Limit: Two (2) ‘Bank size’ boxes per vehicle.
What CAN be shredded: Paper, documents, paper clips, alligator clips, filing folders, or pendaflex folders if metal removed.
What CANNOT be shredded: 3-ring binders, cardboard, plastic, plastic bags, pill bottles, DVD’s, videos, x-rays, credit cards, batteries, cell phones, electronics, hard drives, glass, organic matter, or explosive material.
