Boulder Histories Film Festival

Come celebrate Boulder’s vibrant history at the Boulder Histories Film Festival!

Taking place at the foot of the iconic Flatirons in the historic Chautauqua Auditorium, BHFF screens short documentaries about Boulder County, focusing on the People, Places, and Preservation efforts in the region. This one-day festival will feature three short film screening blocks, filmmaker Q&A’s, and jury and audience awards.

Doors 9:30 AM / Show 10:00 AM – Screening Block 1 – People: These short documentaries focus on the impactful and important people of Boulder County, both living and historical

Doors 12:30 PM / Show 1:00 PM – Screening Block 2 – Places: These short documentaries focus on buildings, architecture, and environments in Boulder County

Doors 3:30 PM / Show 4:00 PM – Screening Block 3 – Preservation + Awards Ceremony: These short documentaries focus on individuals and organizations preserving historic buildings and places in Boulder County. The awards ceremony for all submitted films will follow this screening block.
