Colorado Day Community Fest 2026
August 1 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

You belong here! Join History Colorado and its community partners on Saturday, August 1, 2026, for the Colorado Day Community Fest. Enjoy FREE admission to the festival, to our museums and an opportunity to find connection, culture, and community during Colorado’s 150th birthday.
As Colorado marks 150 years of statehood and the nation recognizes 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, this once-in-a-generation event invites everyone to come together in the state’s capital under the theme “We Are Colorado,” to showcase the incredible diversity and spirit of our state.
From 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Denver’s Golden Triangle Creative District will feature music, art, food, and activities that exemplify Colorado’s remarkable culture. Start your morning with a FREE community pancake breakfast and enjoy a day of connection and fun, designed for visitors of all ages. Throughout the festival, attendees can experience live musical and cultural performances, browse local vendors at the Artisans and Colorado Proud Markets, explore a lowrider car show, and participate in family-friendly games and activities. If you get hungry again, don’t worry! There will also be food trucks and vendors serving up tasty local foods.
As an additional perk, visitors will have FREE access to the History Colorado Center, the Center for Colorado Women’s History and the Denver Art Museum. This is a rare opportunity to experience some of the area’s top cultural destinations while taking part in a statewide day of festivities.
Bring your family, invite your friends, and gather your neighbors for a day of FUN at the Colorado Day Community Fest!
