LOCAL LISTENS Queer Lineage

April 30 @ 7:30 pm - May 1 @ 7:30 pm

Join us for staged readings of two new short plays inspired by the stories of LGBTQ+ Coloradans across generations. This event marks the culmination of our season-long project, Local Listens: Queer Lineage. Tickets are pay-what-you-will. All are welcome!

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Local Listens is our annual community-inspired new play initiative. We gather out community in story circles that will inspire new plays with a new topic each year.

In fall 2025, Colorado LGBTQ+ individuals, allies and the community will come together for facilitated community story circles (learn how to join below). Your stories will inspire commissioned playwrights who will write two 45-minute plays that will be presented April 30 and May 1, 2026

Local Listens: Queer Lineage is supported in part by the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, the Alex Wilson Fund, and Cassandra Simon.

Doug Demusz
