About the Band
Phooey is an indie-funk-jam band from Denver, Colorado known for improvisational jams and unpredictable outcomes. The band funds their roots in a wide variety my of genres including funk, jazz, neo-soul, metal, and indie music. They enjoy exercising the freedom to explore and crossover between genres in their writing and jams. Compelled by the belief that frequency and music can heal, Phooey’s mission is to connect the listener with something inside themselves. The energy is palpable when there is nothing to lose. Join in, as they return to old places and explore uncharted space.
