Artisans Market at Fort Garland: Holiday Craft Affair

Join us at the Artisans Market at Fort Garland Holiday Craft Affair on December 10th, 2022. Shop for unique holiday gifts created by local artisans and crafters and enjoy a day filled with musical entertainment, pirizes, and delicious food. Doors open at 10 am with parking and entrance at the front of the museum.
Vendor applications are available at the Fort Garland Museum and Cultural Center. Cost for a space is $10. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. The members-only preview is on Friday, Nov. 18, from 6 to 8:30 pm. Public hours are Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9 am to 4 pm, and Sunday, Nov. 20, from 10 am to 3 pm.

“Textiles: Exploring Boundaries” opens Friday, Dec. 2, at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures with free admission from 5-8 pm as part of First Friday Art Walk. The Main Gallery exhibition, which runs through March 25, 2023, will examine our assumptions and perceptions about what constitutes a textile. In Plain Sight: An art show benefiting Homeward Pikes Peak

Cottonwood Center for the Arts is pleased to present an exhibition in collaboration with Homeward Pikes Peak for the month of November. This installation is composed of works by local artists who have worked with Homeward Pikes Peak’s [In]Rich Art Studio program.“Homeward Pikes Peak empowers individuals and families to access stable housing, increase mental health, recovery, and economic stability. We create opportunity for individuals and families to restore dignity through treatment and recovery programs, mental health services, and providing housing first. We do this through sober living homes, a residential treatment center for pregnant and parenting women, permanent supportive housing, and clinical programs provided by a licensed staff.”The [In]Rich Art Studio is an open program that provides a creative outlet for those experiencing homelessness. This program provides an opportunity for the Homeward Pikes Peak team to connect with individuals on a personal level as well as assist in seeking stable housing and treatment.The In Plain Sight Art Show is proudly supported by Deron Hickman, Senior Financial Advisor, Tiemens Private Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors.

Brooks Floral & Co. provides the cut flowers, pumpkins, floral cutters and step-by-step instructions on how to how to create a beautiful flower arrangement and how to care for them to make them last for weeks! Each of you will then have time to get hands-on with your chosen flowers from our flower bar and arrange flowers in a pumpkin! Wine, beer, non-alcoholic options, and snacks will be provided but feel free to bring a beverage or snack of your choice to sip while styling your chosen fresh flowers!
