Bark your calendar for this fun pet-friendly event hosted by the Outlets at Silverthorne.

Proceeds from the event will benefit LAPS (League for Animals & People of Summit), a non-profit that supports our local community and Summit County Animal Shelter through spay/neuter programs and providing financial assistance to low-income families for veterinary services.

Barks & Brews will be held at Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails in the Green Village of the outlets.

Tickets are either $15 for a table of two (2), or $30 for a table of four (4) with 100% of the proceeds going to LAPS. Tickets include:

  • Reserved table on Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails’ patio
  • Entertainment provided by the Shaky Hand String Band
  • Two (2) free drinks (for a table of 2), or four (4) free drinks (for a table

83rd Annual Bronc Days – Green Mountain Falls, CO

Bronc Day is a free one-day, one-of-a-kind family fun western themed event with a pancake breakfast, entertainment, a parade, live music, food trucks, kids’ games, face painting, vendors, horses, bright blue skies, a beautiful lake and so much more! Just a 20-minute drive up scenic Ute Pass (Hwy 24) from Colorado Springs.Bronc Day is one of the longest running historical events in Southern Colorado. It began in 1939 to welcome cowhands, tourists and families who were coming to the Ute Pass area to rodeo, vacation or work the summer trades. Bronc Day became an annual day for friends and family fun and memories. A Parade is again a highlight of the traditional festivities and this year includes horses, antique cars, firetrucks, and surprises! Free kids’ games, monster truck bounce house, vendors selling their wares and fabulous food from our local merchants and local food trucks along with live entertainment, western costumes, and much more. It truly is the friendliest day and a fun-filled event for your family to enjoy each summer!This year’s theme is: Ute Pass: Past Present & Future!The ever-popular Pancake Breakfast is returning this year! This will take place at the Church in the Wildwood from 7-10am before the parade. The Friends of the Ute Pass Trails will be sponsoring this loved annual breakfast with proceeds going to enhance their work on the local trail systems.The Grand Marshall for this year’s parade is Margaret Peterson-long-time resident of Green Mountain Falls, Margaret says, “Bronc Day is my favorite day; it makes me feel like I’m 8 years old again.” She has worked tirelessly as a volunteer for many organizations and has served on numerous boards, including Bronc Day, for many years. The Parade starts at 10am.The evening Barn Dance on Friday July 28th 7-9pm, is located in the Green Box Farm Stand featuring long time local band Friends of the Riders. The Firebird food truck will be there too.So put July 28th and 29th on your calendar for a drive to the beautiful town of Green Mountain Falls for the 85th Annual Bronc Day Festival!

Trunk or Treat

Join local businesses, police officers, firefighters, and community members for Localworks’ Trunk or Treat – a fun and safe trick-or-treat experience for kids and their families. Owners will decorate their cars and trucks with creative disguises to delight kids of all ages and distribute candy or small items like pencils and stickers. Attendees vote on the Best Decorated Car and the winner receives a prize. This event features a haunted house, carnival games, and a trunk decorating contest.

Faces Of Freedom Denver

This sporting clay tournament was founded in 2013 by Core Laboratories. In 2016, the tournament expanded to Midland, TX. Proceeds from Faces of Freedom benefit Operation Freedom, a program of Freedom Service Dogs that helps veterans and military personnel with disabilities regain their independence and return to their communities. To date, more than $3 million has been raised through this sporting clay tournament. Join us for a day full of fun while contributing to a worthy cause! Taste of Creede

This year’s 35th Annual Taste of Creede Festival will showcase local art and cuisine on Main Street. This annual event was envisioned by local artist Steven Quiller and the Taste of Creede Festival will delight visitors with inspired art and great food.Wander among the 25+ artists on Main Street Saturday, as they bring to life their latest works. Pick a bench in Basham Park and enjoy listening to live music while noshing delectable treats. Alcoholic beverages purchased from participating business are permitted outdoors within designated blocks of downtown. Sample the flavors of this unique boomtown with the first annual KBelle Community Cook-Off! Amateur contestants representing local businesses will face a panel of judges, while ladling out samples for everyone to try. The theme for this inaugural event is soup, chili, and stew.On Sunday, head north on Main Street after lunch for the annual Quick Draw event. Artists begin with a blank canvas and have one hour to complete their one-of-a-kind works. Afterward, these pieces are offered in the annual art auction. Artists are readily available to offer their expertise to other interested art lovers.
