The Helios Trio is a dynamic ensemble comprised of artist faculty from the University of Wyoming. Their rich and diverse backgrounds as performers combine to produce probing and passionate interpretations of the great piano trio repertoire and have garnered international acclaim. In addition to their mountain west activities, Helios recently presented educational concerts as Ensemble in Residence for the Music For a Great Space series in North Carolina, at the Omaha Conservatory, and was the single United States representative ensemble invited to the International Debussy Centennial Conference in Oviedo, Spain in 2018.

Songbirds Girl Scout Choir

The Songbirds Girl Scout Choir will perform on Friday, May 6, from 5:30-6:30 pm at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. The Museum will be offering free admission from 5-8 pm as part of First Friday Art Walk. In the Museum’s Main Gallery, “Girl Scouts Impact the World” explores the history of Girl Scouts since its founding in 1912. Music in the Grapevines with STRAY GRASS

Settle in for an evening of what Stray Grass calls “handcrafted acoustic Americana” on the lawn of Two Rivers Winery (2097 Broadway, Grand Junction). Gates open at 6 pm, music starts at 7 pm, so you can enjoy a picnic dinner. Wine is available from Two Rivers by the glass or bottle.

Every April, the festival breaks up the long winter with incredible bluegrass music, a barn dance, and other celebrations for visitors. You won’t want to miss this annual event!The Meltdown will be celebrating its 26th year on April 22, 23, & 24, 2022. Attendees will enjoy a variety of musical performances at local venues around Durango, and even have a chance to jam in public spaces.
