The Songbirds Girl Scout Choir will perform on Friday, May 6, from 5:30-6:30 pm at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. The Museum will be offering free admission from 5-8 pm as part of First Friday Art Walk. In the Museum’s Main Gallery, “Girl Scouts Impact the World” explores the history of Girl Scouts since its founding in 1912. The Rich and Complex History of Día de los Muertos will be presented from 6-8 pm Thursday, Oct. 22, in a virtual program hosted by the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. Daniela Castillo, Senior Instructor in CSU’s Department of Journalism & Media Communication, will explore the magical history of Day of the Dead, a holiday celebrated throughout Mexico honoring family members and friends who have passed. Admission is $5 per Zoom connection, with registration and payment available
