After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy) who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches’ book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal.

This November 23rd, Thanksgiving Day, the Briargate Family YMCA is hosting their 26th annual YMCA Turkey Trot 5K and kids’ Tiny Trot in Colorado Springs, CO.This event is an eagerly anticipated holiday fundraiser for the YMCA. Funds raised from this event help provide scholarships to local families in need, which in turn, allows them access to the YMCA and its many programs.

Gynecologic Cancer Walk

3rd annual No CO Gynecologic Cancer Walk & Brunch

Survivors, family members, friends and those who have been impacted by gynecologic cancer are encouraged to join the fun at the 3rd annual No CO Gynecologic Cancer Walk & Brunch, sponsored by the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance (COCA). This fun, family event will include a light brunch, kids activities and special ceremonies for both survivors and those memorializing a loved one lost to a gynecologic cancer. Following the Walk & Brunch, volunteers will head over to Walrus Ice Cream to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and distribute symptom cards. Walrus will donate 10% of the day’s proceeds to COCA.

“Flash Cadillac”

The group has been thrilling audiences for over 50 years. They have appeared in movies, in performances throughout the State of Colorado and elsewhere in the country. They’ve also been inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.  This concert is included in a season membership that includes five varied concerts for a total of $60.  A limited number of tickets for this concert will be available at the door for $20.  First come, first serve. On Saturday and Sunday, Central City Opera singers will perform at a ticketed Music & Art Concert in The Martin Foundry at 212 Eureka St, Central City, CO 80427.

Elk Fest in Estes Park

Celebrate Estes Park’s resident elk at this family-friendly festival in Bond Park. Enjoy vendors, live music, food trucks, bugling contests, performances and more at this year’s Elk Fest! The festival coincides with the famous elk rut, or elk mating season. Wild elk are often easily seen in town and in nearby Rocky Mountain National Park.
