Pawtoberfest 2022

Dogs and beer! Pawtoberfest is one of Colorado’s ONLY dog-friendly festivals, featuring craft brew and spirit tastings with over 30 beverage partners, a 2-mile dog walk, pet friendly vendors, music, pet contests, activities for the whole family, and plenty of scrumptious food from local food trucks!

Pawtoberfest brings animal lovers and dogs together for an important purpose – to help Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region care for thousands of lost, abandoned, abused, and unwanted pets, giving them a second chance.

Our Dog Walk will take place at Bear Creek Regional Park – EAST and will begin at 9 a.m. Participants may walk the 2 mile Dog Walk at their leisure between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Mike the Headless Chicken Festival

Don’t miss this sqwaking good time! Every spring, over 21,000 people flock to downtown Fruita to celebrate the life of a world-famous headless chicken named Mike. Enjoy a wing and peep eating contest, a pancake breakfast, a car show, great music and chicken dance contest, the Run Like a Headless Chicken 5K race, free backyard games, disc golf, Mike’s merch market, and GREAT FAMILY FUN!

Holiday Tree Lighting

Tis the season to be merry and bright at Aurora’s annual Holiday Tree Lighting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway. Join us to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with a variety of sights, sounds and tastes to ring in the holiday season.This year’s entertainment lineup includes performances from Aurora Dance Arts, Aurora Singers and a special visit from the one and only, Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus. Take a stroll through Santa’s workshop and witness the illumination of thousands of sparkling lights around the Aurora Municipal Center. Global Fest

Join the City of Aurora for a celebration of diversity and inclusion and a great summer multicultural experience. There will be musical and dance performances, a fashion show, a parade of nations, an international marketplace, food, vendors and more.

4th of July Spectacular

Celebrate the 4th of July in Aurora! Presented by… the City of Aurora. This event will have…a variety of musical performances and a large fireworks show! Fireworks will at approximately 9:30 p.m. and will last 30 minutes.Those wishing to view the fireworks can do so from the Aurora Municipal Center’s Great Lawn beginning at 6 p.m.

RiNo Showcase Music & Arts Festival

RiNo Showcase is back and we’re bigger and better than ever! This year we’re taking it to the next level! Our all-day event will feature over 100 visual artists, small businesses, and local vendors on June 11th! We’ll have 8 of Denver’s best up-and-coming bands and musicians, DJs, fire dancers, live painters, food trucks, and so much more! All artists and vendors keep 100% of their profits from the show! You won’t wanna miss RiNo Showcase this year! Robert is a writer. Or, well, he wants to be. He’s only ever had one goodidea… but before he could write it, someone else did.

The concept: a sci-fi comedy about a parallel universe where The Beatlesdon’t exist.

The thief: Richard Curtis (Love, Actually), with his 2019 film “Yesterday.”

What Robert doesn’t know is that he is in for a universe-hopping adventure ofhis own…

With a supernatural second chance to write the script that was “stolen” fromhim, will he make something of his trust-fund do-nothing life? Will hisboyfriend, Dev, be the same across the multiverse? Will saucy new flingsarise as the universe twists and turns the relationships in Robert’s life?

This fast-paced farce pokes fun at pipedreams, procrastinations, and thephoniness inside us all.
