Silent Disco and Food Truck Rally

Silent Disco started rocking in Manitou in 2018. Due to popular demand, the disco came back for 2022! See who’s listening to what channel based on the color of their headphones. It’s a battle, it’s a dance-a-thon, its the quietest party you’ve ever been to. While you’re there, grab a bite, have a drink, make some memories….. Very silent ones.

Carnivale Weekend

Returning in 2023 is the Manitou Springs Carnivale Weekend! Join us for the Mumbo Gumbo Jumbo Cook-Off and the Carnivale Parade. Local shops and restaurants will also be offering some sweet deals and food specials (to hopefully include some warm, tasty gumbo!).Dress up, dress down, and don’t forget to don your feathered masks while you enjoy all that Manitou Springs has to offer.

The Great Fruitcake Toss

The fruitcakes will fly again in Manitou Springs! Join us for old fashioned games of tossing fruitcakes! It all started in 1996 with locals throwing fruitcakes in the park, and 27 years later, here we are. Events will be pure feats of strength, talent, balance and taste!

Emma Crawford Coffin Races and Festival

In 1995, the Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce started the first coffin races in the nation, in memory of a beloved member of Manitou Springs. In the years since, the races have grown into an often-copied-but-never-equaled Manitou Springs tradition.
