On June 25th, Hops Drops Evergreen Music + Craft Beer Festival will showcase national headliner The California Honeydrops as well as a dozen regional acts, offering an eclectic mix of blues, funk, indie, and rock all while highlighting some of Colorado’s premier craft beer. This one-day festival offers a full outdoor experience filled with live music, unlimited brewery tastings, yoga, food and retail vendors, and kid-friendly activities.

Derek Walton is a stand-up and sketch comedian that has been featured in the Denver Westword.
Edward Bell is a stand-up comedian originally from rural eastern Iowa, now living in Denver, CO. He has written for the Hard Times. He regularly performs at comedy festivals around the country sharing the stage with big names like Adam Cayton-Holland, Steph Tolev, and Nick Youssef. He used to live in a van, but now he doesn’t. There were too many complaints.
Austin Black is a comedian originally from Iowa and now resides in Denver, Colorado. No one cares that in his six years of performing he has performed in multiple comedy festivals such as Denver Fringe, Floodwater, Green Gravel, and finished top five in the “Funniest Person in Iowa Contest” at Penguin’s Comedy Club. He was also a finalist in the Clean Comedy Contest at Comedy Works.

Pawtoberfest brings animal lovers and dogs together for an important purpose – to help Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region care for thousands of lost, abandoned, abused, and unwanted pets, giving them a second chance.
Our Dog Walk will take place at Bear Creek Regional Park – EAST and will begin at 9 a.m. Participants may walk the 2 mile Dog Walk at their leisure between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Teaching Tree Open House: “Little Plates for Little People”
The outdoor event will feature a silent auction and live music from the Waido Experience. Community members are encouraged to bring the entire family to enjoy a variety of games and activities for all ages. The Sweaty Moose Food Truck will serve their “Colorado-style comfort foods” alongside a variety of complimentary appetizers and beverages. Staff will offer tours of the facility throughout the evening.
The event is free to attend, though guests are encouraged to make donations. Advance registration is required. Attendees who donate $50 or more with their registration will receive a voucher for a complimentary meal during the event from Sweaty Moose. Community members can register to attend at teaching-tree.org/little-plates.
