Summit for Life
The 17th Annual Summit for Life is scheduled for Saturday, December 3. This nighttime uphill race on Aspen Mountain begins at 5:30pm, and finishes at the Sundeck at the top of the mountain for dinner, live music, and an awards ceremony. Participants then enjoy a beautiful ride on the Gondola back to the base of the mountain. Additional registration option include Virtual Summit for Life and Ride for Life.Summit for Life is a fundraising and outreach event for the Chris Klug Foundation. CKF is a national nonprofit located in Aspen, Colorado that promotes organ, eye, and tissue donation and transplantation awareness through education, inspiration, and registration. We honor and celebrate donors and recipients.CKF strives to eliminate the wait for the 106,000 people on the transplant waiting list. Approximately 96% of Americans support organ, eye, and tissue donation, but only 54% actually register. Every day 22 people die waiting for a lifesaving transplant. One organ donor can save the lives of 8 people, and one tissue donor can impact the lives of 75 people. Furthermore, organ, eye, and tissue donation is supported by most major religions, does not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, race, income, social status, or age (the oldest donor in the world was 107, and the youngest was 74 minutes). Live life, give life!

Silent Disco and Food Truck Rally
Silent Disco started rocking in Manitou in 2018. Due to popular demand, the disco came back for 2022! See who’s listening to what channel based on the color of their headphones. It’s a battle, it’s a dance-a-thon, its the quietest party you’ve ever been to. While you’re there, grab a bite, have a drink, make some memories….. Very silent ones.

Returning in 2023 is the Manitou Springs Carnivale Weekend! Join us for the Mumbo Gumbo Jumbo Cook-Off and the Carnivale Parade. Taste of Vail
During the annual event, upwards of 10,000 people can “Taste the Vail Valley lifestyle,” which showcases Vail’s world-famous resort village set against dramatic mountain vistas. Participants at the Taste of Vail experience the Vail Valley’s world-class restaurants, fine wine poured by winemakers and winery owners from top wineries around the globe, along with interactive seminars, an auction and dance, the Colorado Tasting on the streets of Vail, and more.Taste of Vail is here to promote the Vail lifestyle via the community’s ever-evolving food and beverage assets. This is done through the organization’s iconic food and wine event in the spring, along with additional activities throughout the year designed to support and elevate the community. We will have guest chefs this year to enhance the food and wine experience.

This winter will kick off Vail–Beaver Creek Restaurant Week! With participating restaurants spanning across two neighboring World Class Mountain Resorts, Vail and Beaver Creek, this culinary celebration takes dining to new heights, literally! The events will feature a wide variety of specials all starting at $20.22 and all showcasing the incredible and diverse culinary offerings available throughout the Vail and Beaver Creek Villages. To further enhance each guest’s dining experience, each bite will be perfectly paired with spectacular winter views spread across the stunning mountain backdrops provided by Vail and Beaver Creek.

Two Days of Fun in Celebration of Breck’s Favorite Pairing: Live Music & Craft Beer
Breckenridge Brewery is celebrating the return of Hootenanny, a two-day annual festival hosted in celebration of craft beer & live music. This year’s event marks the brewery’s 32nd anniversary since its humble beginnings in the mountain town for which it’s named.Hosted on Breck’s iconic and family-friendly Littleton Farm House campus, the end of summer extravaganza will include rare tappings, food and beer pairings, life-size board games, local vendors and a Never Summer snowboard hill. With two days of fun featuring national and local bands, the festival runs October 8 and 9 from 12:00pm to 7:00pm, rain or shine.
