Water Filters for Ukraine FUNdraiser

The United Nations estimates that, so far, more than 14,000 people have died in the war in Ukraine. Access to clean water is making the situation even more dire as officials predict that a recent cholera outbreak will kill tens of thousands more. BUT, WE CAN STILL SAVE LIVES! Seeds of Exchange is raising funds for Water for All to get water filters into the hands of Ukrainian citizens quickly.

Please join us to hear firsthand stories of the relief efforts that are saving lives. Our goal is to raise $60,000 for water filters.

Tea Tastings, Politics, and Social Culture in China’s Ming Dynasty

 “Tea Tastings, Politics, and Social Culture in China’s Ming Dynasty” will be presented Thursday, August 11, from 6-7:30 pm at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures.  Claire Chien, Assistant Professor of Art Education at Colorado State University, will explore tea-tasting events and Chinese paintings in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 A.D.).  Admission to the program is free, and audience members will enjoy authentic tea from Taiwan. For more information, visit globalvillagemuseum.org or call 970-221-4600.

Live Music with Fort Collins Marimba

Puppy Mill Awareness Day

Join us for ‘Puppy Mill Awareness Day’ festival on Saturday, September 10th in Berthoud, CO!

The event is hosted by Colorado-based nonprofit Harley’s Dream, whose mission is to create awareness and educate the public about puppy mills in honor of Harley, a tiny one-eyed puppy mill survivor who went from bucket dog to hero dog.

What can you expect?  This FREE-to-the-public event will feature education and awareness booths, a large variety of pet-related vendors, speakers, music, a Blessing of the Animals, doggie costume contests, and more! Leashed, well-mannered dogs are welcome!  AND, New for 2022 – The Puppy Mill Experience which provides a unique learning opportunity about the puppy mill industry using videos, real & recreated artifacts, photos, and stories.
