We invite you to celebrate the season with a multi-cultural flower show. Japan embraces a rich history of holiday traditions was well as influences from other lands. Over 50 beautiful ikebana flower creations will highlight the season and inspire you in the Boulder Main Library Canyon Gallery. Featured on display will also be Edo Period scrolls and holiday art works from Japan. For those interested in the history of Japanese flower arranging over the last 600 years please attend the lecture and demonstration at the Boulder Main Library, Canyon Auditorium at 2:00 PM on December 10, 2023.

Tinseltown is coming, just in time for winter! The all-encompassing Christmas-themed pop-up will be fulfilling all your festive wishes. The event is overflowing with holly jolly Christmas spirit!
It’s time to make every day cheery again, and you guessed it…Tinseltown is all about celebrating Christmas so you can expect Santa, elves, presents, tinsel, festive tunes and lots of winter warmer drinks, including a fabulous Christmas cocktail menu! The halls are more than fully decked with baubles, bows, hanging trees, wreaths and just about every festive goodie ever! You’ll be left unable to shake the spirit and joy of our favourite season.
Tickets include entry to the themed bar and a bespoke cocktail on arrival.

Starlighting is an annual traditional community ceremony that includes lighting the star on top of Castle Rock followed by a fireworks display. Festivities include: Caroling, dancing, ice skating, Santa Claus, Kid’s activity zone, non-profit booths, food vendors, hot chocolate, and the chili supper at the Firehouse adds to this Norman Rockwell experience.Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce created the beloved Starlighting event in 1962, which celebrates the holiday season featured by the lighting of the star on top of the Rock (the star was first lit in 1936).Saturday, November 18, 2023

Non profit and sponsor booths will line the streets offering holiday goodies and trinkets. Santa Claus visits (2pm-4:15pm) and the chili supper at the Firehouse complete this Norman Rockwell experience.
The actual ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM on the main stage, with the lighting of The Star at approximately 5:30 PM, followed immediately by fireworks.
