In the late 1960s\, these founding members were driven by a shared desire to preserve town’s architectural heritage\, while also nurturing the vibrant artistic spirit taking root in the valley. \nGuided by this vision\, the Society organized the first Crested Butte Arts Fair in 1971. The event created an annual platform for local artists to share their work\, earn income\, and connect with the broader community\, enriching cultural life in an otherwise rural setting. What began as an informal gathering of mostly local artisans selling handmade crafts has since evolved into one of the most respected and competitive juried fine art shows in the Western United States.

SUMMARY:Polyrhythmics @ Downtown Louisville Street Faire
DESCRIPTION:Polyrhythmics sound originated in the Seattle underground deep funk scene combining impossibly tight grooves with bold brass and hypnotic percussion that showcased elements of R&B\, progressive jazz\, and Afrobeat which defined their early era sound. Now on their thirteenth year as a recording project and touring ensemble\, their sound continues to evolve following six full length albums\, several EPs and live releases. The virtuosic musicianship and musical conversation built on a relentless touring schedule of the previous decade has led them to a brand of psych-funk that fills a room with an impending mood where anything could happen. \nFor 26 years Front Street in Louisville has come alive in the summer with the magic of friends\, family\, community and live music. Enjoy tasty food\, cold drinks\, lots of activities for the kids\, quality arts\, crafts and sundries. Thanks to our awesome sponsors\, this event is FREE.

SUMMARY:Emo Night Brooklyn
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Emo Night Brooklyn\, a late-night\, DJ-driven dance party blasting the best emo and pop punk jams that raised us\, ruined us\, and somehow still define us. We’re taking over Federal Theatre in Denver on 31 July 2026 for a night of screaming every word\, moshing with strangers\, and feeling absolutely everything. \nThis is not a quiet night out. Expect wall-to-wall emo and pop punk anthems\, deep cuts\, and songs you still know by heart even if you pretend you’ve “moved on.” From the tracks that got you through your worst years to the ones that still hit a little too hard\, Emo Night Brooklyn is all about losing your voice\, finding your people\, and reliving the music that made us who we are. And yeah sometimes special guests and your favorite artists even jump in to join the chaos. \nCome ready to scream\, mosh\, dance\, cry in the corner (no judgment)\, and throw yourself into the pit with all your favorite people. Tell the DJs what you want to hear and we promise we listen better than your ex. It’s loud\, it’s emotional\, and it’s the kind of night that reminds you it was never just a phase. \nSo get ready\, Denver. Lace up your boots\, warm up your vocal cords\, and meet us in the pit at Federal Theatre on 31 July 2026. Emo Night Brooklyn is calling — and yes\, we need every soul.

SUMMARY:SYML
DESCRIPTION:Recommended if you like: Noah Cyrus\, Gregory Alan Isakov\, Richy Mitch & Coal Miners\, Hozier\, Daughter\, Patrick Watson\, Novo Amor\, Lord Huron SYML is the solo venture of Seattle artist Brian Fennell. Welsh for “simple”— he makes music that taps into the instincts that drive us to places of sanctuary\, whether that be a place or a person. Fennell’s latest offering\, Nobody Lives Here\, marks his clearest\, crispest writing. Written\, recorded\, and produced by him and his longtime collaborator Brian Eichelberger\, it is fueled by the keen understanding that life is a contradiction\, a fleeting moment. But as we accept the presence of loss\, we can still welcome others into our space with melody\, lyrics\, a slide guitar\, or a cello’s hum. His sense of humanity is his musical compass. As an artist\, Fennell takes license to both gut and be gutted. “If the dark inspires the good\, that’s a good thing to be honest about\,” he says. He released his self-titled debut album in 2019\, which includes the multi platinum song “Where’s My Love” and the Gold Record fan favorite “Girl.” His 2023 sophomore album\, The Day My Father Died\, described by NPR as “euphoric\,” was recorded at Studio X with renowned producer Phil Ek and features collaborations with Elbow’s Guy Garvey\, Lucius\, Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek\, and Charlotte Lawrence. His music has become the soundtrack to countless films and TV shows and was used by Lana Del Rey on the song “Paris\, TX\,” from her Grammy-nominated 2023 album. With over four billion streams\, the multi-platinum artist looks at grief\, loss\, mortality\, and the passing of time directly in the eye\, unwavering and harmonious. In 2024\, SYML launched the imprint\, FIN. Recordings\, a collaboration with his label\, Nettwerk Music Group\, and management Good Harbor Music
