Sundance Film Festival Indigenous Short Film Tour
The 2022 Sundance Institute Indigenous Short Film Tour is a 91-minute theatrical program of 6 short films directed by Indigenous filmmakers, featuring titles from the 2022 Sundance Film Festival shorts program and from alumni of Sundance Institute’s Indigenous Program. Started last year as a virtual presentation in conjunction with our friends at museums, Native cultural centers, and arthouse cinemas, the tour will return in 2022 as an in-person exhibition. Featuring narrative and documentary shorts, the curated selection is a celebration of Native perseverance and an exciting look at a variety of inventive storytelling from Indigenous artists with Sundance ties. The Festival’s Short Film Program has a long history of supporting and launching talented Indigenous directors including Taika Waititi, Blackhorse Lowe, Sterlin Harjo, Sky Hopinka, Caroline Monnet, and Shaandiin Tome.

Join us for an adults only program where you not only get to create memories but a painting of one of our amazing animals as well. Spend the evening at the Zoo strolling through animal exhibits, enjoying an adult beverage, meeting animals up-close and creating a masterpiece!

In Plain Sight: An art show benefiting Homeward Pikes Peak
Cottonwood Center for the Arts is pleased to present an exhibition in collaboration with Homeward Pikes Peak for the month of November. This installation is composed of works by local artists who have worked with Homeward Pikes Peak’s [In]Rich Art Studio program.“Homeward Pikes Peak empowers individuals and families to access stable housing, increase mental health, recovery, and economic stability. We create opportunity for individuals and families to restore dignity through treatment and recovery programs, mental health services, and providing housing first. We do this through sober living homes, a residential treatment center for pregnant and parenting women, permanent supportive housing, and clinical programs provided by a licensed staff.”The [In]Rich Art Studio is an open program that provides a creative outlet for those experiencing homelessness. This program provides an opportunity for the Homeward Pikes Peak team to connect with individuals on a personal level as well as assist in seeking stable housing and treatment.The In Plain Sight Art Show is proudly supported by Deron Hickman, Senior Financial Advisor, Tiemens Private Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors.

Three Nights of Horror Film Festival
