JULY 23 – After Hours at the Museum: An Evening Behind the Scenes 6 PM
July 23 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Ever wondered what happens behind the gallery walls? Join us for a special after-hours evening with Curator Sam Hensley for an intimate look at the life of a museum: and the people who bring it to life.
The evening begins with a guided tour of our current exhibition, Work & Wonder: Behind the Scenes at the Museum. Sam will walk you through the curatorial process, from the big ideas that shape an exhibition to the small decisions that give objects their stories.
Then, head where few visitors ever go: our permanent collection storage. Sam will give you a hands-on crash course in object handling and share the investigative, detail-driven work of a collections manager. Expect surprises!
