About Island Acres Park
With its four lakes, Island Acres is scenic for swimming, fishing, picnicking, and hiking. Camping is available at Island Acres and Fruita, and reservations are recommended on summer weekends. This park is a few miles north of the Cameo, if you are interested in visiting the shooting complex. Only hand-propelled or sail watercraft and boats with electric motors are permitted on Island Acres, Corn Lake, Connected Lakes, and Fruita Lakes. — Back to All State Parks.
